19th century tinned copper dessert mold

- Dimensions: diameter 16cm, height 10cm. Example: 19th century
- Price: 380 euros
Superb red copper entremets mold with gadrooned and lozenge decoration, of high quality workmanship. This circular mold, decorated with a double row of domed lozenges evoking a stylized flower or a crown, is a typical piece of antique pastry-making equipment, intended for making molded desserts: jellies, entremets or bavarois.
The interior is tinned for food use, in accordance with traditional practices. It retains its original hook, allowing for wall mounting in traditional kitchens. The thick copper, hammered to perfection, testifies to the artisanal skill of the coppersmiths of the period.
