Mushroom Corkscrew

An exceptional small Louis XVI style solid silver wine-tasting cup, made during the First Empire. This masterpiece is distinguished by its classic and elegant decoration, composed of radiating gadroons and a double row of raised pearls on the base. The handle is formed by a finely chased, intertwined serpent, the traditional symbol of Burgundy winemakers.
