Pair of gilt bronze candlesticks. A very fine pair of gilt bronze candlesticks, the gilding is beautifully executed and very luminous. The decorative motifs are those of the Louis XV and Louis XVI periods. The chasing is remarkable. The stem unscrews from the base, and these candlesticks have retained their original bobeches. They have been re-drilled for electrification. This is a 19th-century Parisian piece.
