Pair of painted sheet metal vases | First half of the 19th century

In an "Empire" green hue, this pair of vases has the advantage of retaining its original zinc liners. Furthermore, they are presented as a pair. Cone-shaped, they rest on claw feet, themselves supported by a base of painted sheet metal with a faux marble effect. They are decorated on all four sides with gardening tools and musical instruments. Within an oval surmounted by a knot, one vase depicts a lively seaside scene, while the other features a lively park scene.
