Portrait of Marguerite de Palerme (1726-1800)

Portrait of oval format of Marguerite de Palerme (1726-1800). She marries Jacques Joseph Mayol de Lué (1718-1807) in 1755. The very beautiful 18th century golden wooden frame, it is very well sculpted with leaves and flowers and has preserved in its majority its original gilding.

It is the portrait of a pretty young woman dressed in blue and red velvet that the anonymous painter knew how to make shimmering, a thin belt marks his waist. In the hollow of the sleeve escapes from the lace that also surrounds the neckline of her dress. This portrait is of great elegance.

The table is relatively important and there is no distinction.
