18th-century solid silver tastevin (wine cup) , originating from the prestigious jurisdiction of Chartres . This model is distinguished by its classic simplicity and exceptional craftsmanship.

🖋️ HALLMARKS & IDENTIFICATION

The coin features remarkably legible punch marks on the reverse:

  • Master Goldsmith: PC for Pierre CHILLARD (received master in Chartres around 1748), member of the most famous dynasty of goldsmiths in the city.
  • Jurande / Ville: CE crowned with dot under the E , specific mark of the city of Chartres .
  • General information: Traces of the charge stamps of the Generality of Orléans.
