Solid silver candlestick by Boin-Taburet in Paris – Rococo style

Rare and elegant solid silver Rocaille style candlestick, signed Boin-Taburet in Paris , a famous Parisian silversmithing house active at the end of the 19th century, renowned for its reproductions of 18th century models.

• Goldsmith : Boin-Taburet (diamond hallmark with the initials B&T)

• Hallmark : Minerva 1st standard (950/1000), guaranteed solid silver

• Style : Louis XV – Rococo

• Period : Late 19th century, around 1880-1900

• Description :
  Ornate base with foliage and scroll motifs, screw-on central candle holder, finely chiseled curved handle. A refined model, faithful to 18th-century creations, with very fine casting and chasing work.

Very good overall condition, polished silver with slight signs of wear. Hallmarks perfectly legible under the base.
