"The Monk" corkscrew silver copper

- Era: around 1960-1970
- Dimension: 20cm
- Price: 270
Amazing figurative plug in copper metal with silver finish, representing a withdrawal monk in a jovial posture. The character hides in his body a complete corkscrew mechanism. The head cap is removable, revealing the wick, while the arms serve as levers for the extraction of the cap.
This model, often nicknamed "The Monk" or "The Merry Monk", was manufactured in the 20th century, probably in the years 1960-1970, in a humorous style sought by collectors of anthropomorphic bouches.
Object that is both utilitarian and decorative, it illustrates the vintage taste for fun and typical bar objects. Very good general condition, pleasant patina.
