This elegant Louis XV chest of drawers in solid walnut perfectly illustrates the refinement of 18th-century Burgundian productions.

Its delicately curved front opens with three drawers highlighted by sinuous moldings, in a subtle balance between Rococo style and regional restraint. The curved sides and cabriole legs enhance the fluidity of the lines. The uprights are highlighted with an elegant molding carved from a single piece of wood.

The lower crossbar is adorned with a remarkable sculpted shell, whose supple and natural modeling testifies to a quality craftsmanship.

The bronze fittings decorated with mascarons and scrolls elegantly enliven the facade. Some of the bronze keyhole escutcheons and drop handles are original, while others were remade in the 19th century.

The walnut wood has a warm, rich and deep patina, revealing a beautiful grain.

An authentic and decorative piece, emblematic of 18th century French regional furniture.
