Physical Characteristics & Materials
- Heavy cast metal (usually brass or a high-density zamak alloy).

- Front: Textured and detailed depiction of an owl with expressive eyes and stylized, raised plumage
- Back face: Linear plumage designed in an elegant and ergonomic way.
- Direct screw corkscrew (T-type). The T-shaped handle at the top provides a firm grip for removing the cork by turning. The flared base of the owl rests on the neck of the bottle to guide the worm.
- While BMF bottle openers in the shape of dolphins, sparrows or elephants are more common, the large "Owl" corkscrew model in gold-plated finish is a much rarer and more sought-after barware item
- The gold plating retains a superb shine, without major scratches or pronounced silvering loss.
- A perfectly functional utilitarian table item and a true vintage decorative piece for a bar cart or collector's display case.
